Why NuWays MD exists

You should understand
what you are considering.

Treatment names, promises and before-and-after photos can be a lot to sort through. We make room for the questions behind the decision.

What NuWaysMD.com is today

NuWaysMD.com helps people understand aesthetic treatments and helps practice owners make informed equipment and business decisions. Our guides bring together research, clear explanations and practical tools to help readers compare their options and prepare for the next step.

The former NuWays MD med spa in Boca Raton closed in 2024. Today’s NuWaysMD.com is a separate educational publication and does not provide medical care. Founder Darryl H. brings seven years of experience as the spa’s co-owner and practice manager to the questions we explore, from treatment expectations to the day-to-day realities of running a practice.

Darryl H., Founder & Editor

Darryl was the co-owner and practice manager of the former NuWays MD med spa for approximately seven years. He now brings that experience to NuWaysMD.com, with a focus on helping readers understand their options and helping owners make better-informed operating decisions.

His work involved the everyday running of the practice: supporting the front desk and providers, hiring, coordinating training, managing scheduling and supplies, and improving the patient experience. He also handled equipment purchasing, vendor relationships, financing options, electronic medical record workflows, marketing and advertising.

The practice offered injectables such as Botox and fillers, laser hair removal and IPL, microneedling and RF treatments including Morpheus8, signature facials and Hydrafacial, hair restoration and other wellness services like medical weight loss, IV therapy, and women’s intimate health. That range gave him experience managing different appointment needs, client needs, supply costs, treatment packages and follow-up processes.

Experience with the details that make a practice work

Darryl worked with equipment representatives, attended training events and conferences, and coordinated the steps between an inquiry and follow-up after treatment. His responsibilities included aftercare materials, email follow-up, room organization, ordering and documentation workflows.

Those details shape our professional resources. A machine’s purchase price is only one part of its cost. A treatment package affects future appointment capacity. A software demonstration should show what happens when a patient cancels, uses a prepaid visit or needs a follow-up.

Our equipment quote comparison, capacity planning guide and software comparison turn those operating questions into practical examples and tools.

How we use that experience

Firsthand practice examples are identified as historical accounts. Published prices, hypothetical calculations and clinical research are labeled separately so readers can understand what supports an answer. Darryl’s experience with a service or device does not mean we have personally tested every option in a comparison.

Practice management is not a medical qualification. Clinical claims in our consumer guides rely on the cited sources, and medical review is credited separately only when a qualified reviewer has completed it. Each guide states its review status.

Read our editorial standards and commercial disclosures, or contact us with a correction or question.

Useful information for two different decisions

For consumers, our guides explain treatments, costs, recovery and the questions to take to a qualified clinician. Start with the consumer guide library.

For practice owners and teams, our professional resources cover equipment, opening a practice, software and day-to-day operations. Business analysis and a person’s clinical treatment plan serve different purposes.
